Have you ever heard of the Japanese punk band Peelander-Z? Well, they are something else to say the least. Thier music, in my opinion, is total crap but man are they weird! (in a funny and positive way) To my knowledge they are the only band ever to move the audience to setup a bowling alley and bowl right there in the middle of a song. Of course this meant that they had the audience members playing the music for them. Crazy. But today was a pretty cool day for me. I watched Speed on TV which must be better than watching TV on Speed. I hadnt seen that movie in years but I really feel like if the time ever came for me to do so, I could and would "shoot the hostage." Another thing that kept with the theme of a good day for me was being able to find a new pair of jeans that werent faded within an inch of thier life, didnt have a thousand pockets, had leg openings smaller than a skirt and were reasonably priced. I know that sounds like an easy thing but this has been an ongoing battle for me for the last 3 months and I have won! I know, I am being derrogatory of all of the millions of apparant carpenters out there but hey, its 2003, I live in one of the largest cities in the most civilized nation in the world. I have no need for a fucking pocket for a hammer! But hey, I am happy now so whatever. I had a thought while listening to Audioslave's "Like a Stone" the other day... Chris Cornell says something about regretting things he has done. Do you feel it is better to regret something you did or better to regret something you didnt do? I'll leave out on that thought. I want to hear your opinions on it though, quite honestly. Later.

Hey guys...Chillin here just wrapping up another boring weekend. The Astros really let me down today, I must say. They really need to get thier butts in gear if they want to play in October. Enough about that though. About my weekend...Me and a couple of friends (the usual suspects) went down to Fitz and saw 14er on friday. These guys are out of the ordinary in thier style but I was diggin' it. I was surprised to see that my buddy, Nick, was the singer since back when I knew him he was a trumpet player. Weird how some people are multitalented like that. Anyway, I like Fitz because its good entertainment for pretty cheap and without a job, thats always a good thing. By the way, I want to work sometime pretty soon, if any of you out there know of a job opening then let me know. I do windows and I am not partial to keeping my shirt on if that gets me more cheese. :) I had a conversation with my sister today that was actually more of quoting a movie than anything. My mom just stares in disbelief sometimes at the movies we can remember lines from. This time it was The Great Outdoors with Dan Aykroyd and the late John Candy. The sign at the front desk of the hotel has a horn and a sign that says "for service, blow me" and then they do and this dog with porcupine quills in her nose goes ballistic. The guy at the desk comes up and says "she loves porcupines, hates people...She's in heat too...Too bad youre not a dog. What can I do ya for" Then later on she said something about "we will all go back to the house, we'll all get the keys and we'll all stay with Bernie" which was from Weekend At Bernie's. Well, it may not be funny to you all but damned if its not funny to me!! Anywho, Yetis at Fitz tomorrow night. Anyone down for going, give me a ring. out. 1

I forgot that I had this thing up until Watson reminded me earlier. Anway, I hope everyone is doing well. Texas Heat Wave was a good time even though I got a minor sunburn. If you dont know what THW is, it is a huge custom car show in austin with sound competitions and things of that nature. (beautiful cars everywhere) So I went to eat today and the restaraunt had a 32 oz chicken fried steak with a salad, fries and texas toast and they say if you can eat it all in 45 minutes than its free. Beining unemployeed and all, I actually considered this but since there is no way in hell that I couldve pulled it off and that if you are unsuccessful, it is $26 then I passed on my temptation. I started thinking about those asian kids that are really good at hotdog eating contests. They look like normal-small people and they can eat like 45 hotdogs in 3 minutes or whatever. How the hell do you realize you have this talent by the way? Do you wake up one day and go, "I think im hungry enough to eat a lot of hotdogs today so therefore I will" Craziness. Switching gears though, Dave Matthews Band came through last week and took the time to leave me amazed with thier talant, once again. Unbelieveable. I estimate that I have seem them about 10 times live now and it just never gets old. Well, it is getting to be time for this foo to sleep so I will catch you all around. Hopefully I will remember this thing and update more often. Holla.

whats up folks? I hope all of you had a good holiday weekend. I spent mine enjoying the sounds of The (two time award winning) Yetis, a pretty good ska band from pasadena. It's funny how watching fireworks while listening to patriotic music makes you think about your freedom and how proud you are of the States. It's true though...sitting there on the back of Lowery's truck with some of my boyz, I had kind of a solemn moment between me and the fireworks. craziness. Anyway, the rain is really irritating me these last two weeks. My plan initially was to clean two pools and mow two yards all in one day so I can just chill for the rest of the week but instead I am forced to wait, wait, wait for the rain to stop then the cycle starts all over. This is honestly getting ridiculous. If i wanted to live in a constantly rainy climate, I would choose somewhere more exciting than Houston. Regardless...some pretty neat stuff coming up in July... Dave Matthews comes in the 16th and then Texas Heat Wave, a big-damn car show, hits Austin the 19-20. So S-s-s-stoked. This Wed though is the Yetti's at Fitz with Los Skarnales for $2! If you want to win then come on out. Alright...it's time to cook some burgers now so you peeps take care and have good summer (much happy ending)Shoutout to Cody in korea... We miss you buddy and look forward to seeing you pretty soon. Holla.

Cowabunga. This is a word that I can honestly say that I cannot remember using in my life, ever. However, it may be the first time a Blog has started with that word. It is my first post and I am already making history! Yeah, I am a dork but its whatever. Anyway, I was watchiing the news today and they said something about rainfall totals for the year still being like 2" below normal and I thought that was ridiculous because it has rained now for 11 days and 11 nights. So that statistic doesnt have any real purpose in this case but hey, thanks for playing, weatherman. The grass grows 4" a day or something like that and since I have no job then I am like the designated lawn guy for my grandpa and my parents so its a lot of mowing. Back to the weatherman though...Wouldnt that be a kickass superhero? Weatherman. He would be like Storm from X-men but with a day job on the news. But he wouldnt be as cool as Storm because it would be like a cheap Korean knock-off. I'm going to keep the nonsense to a minimum tonight since I am still a newbie. Have a happy 4th and hey, give me a call if something rad is going down. Holla.
