I wonder if anyone else is as bored as I am. Damn. Boredom. wow. I read an interesting article in the comical this morning about tcu planning to not take the invitation to the GMAC and instead taking the Ft worth bowl. Stupid if you ask me. Why would anyone want to play in a bowl game on thier own campus. Hell, its not like anyone else really wants to. Just them apparantly. But I cant complain because if they want it, more power to them...Their ignorance just sends the winner of the UH vs uab game to New Orleans which lets see...hmm...yeah, I think I am for. I wonder if the team wants to go there. Uh...Duh! In fact, here is a letter to them:

The Spirit of Houston marching band would like to extend, in advance, our gratitude and special thanks for your ignorance. You see, Ft Worth has nothing fun, whatsoever for anyone. NOLA, however affords us the oppurtunity to celebrate our bowl victory, before and after the game, in an alcoholic haze. Maybe it stands to reason that we are the way we are because we dont carry the Big C in our name. Maybe in staying home you are attempting to save your humble city from the wrath of billions of cougar fans (well, hundreds) eating it up. We are from Houstons 3rd ward ya know. GHE-TT0! Whatever the reason for your default of a decent bowl, against a decent team for the ability to stay home and just be average, once again, we salute you. Thanks again.
