I am watching a press conference in which President Bush is trying to promote his ideas on the continued "war on terror." Its fascinating to watch how big of an asshole he is to people. Personally, I prefer not to be treated like an infant, but the president seems to quite enjoy talking to people like they are scum. His ideas pertaining to terrorism, Iraq, the Geneva Convention, national defense, the patriot act, nuclear policy, etc are generally very abstract. Its like listening to lines from a science fiction film at times. I mean, lets say we are fighting an idealogical war. How do we win it? Lets all put our heads on our desks and think happy thoughts and everything will be ok.
